 Job Overview: The policy advisor will advise the Israeli Consul General and diplomatic team on a variety of topics related to the U.S.-Israel relationship, specifically in the Midwest. 

One of the focuses will be in the economic department, however the policy advisor will work on various additional projects and topics, possibly including homeland security, law enforcement, politics, and interreligious affairs, among others.

 Applicants should be eager to learn new topics as they relate to the U.S.-Israel relationship and have the ability to multitask efficiently. 

The Midwest region entails Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota and Nebraska. 


• Must be American citizen

 • Bachelor's degree

 • 2-4 years work experience

 • The ability to multitask in a fast paced and intense work environment 

• Familiarity with Israel’s economy and business culture 

• Exceptional English writing and communication skills 

• Eager to learn new topics 


• Office located in the loop 

• All Israeli and American holidays are days off 

• Every Friday workday ends at 2:00 due to Shabbat
