 Through Jewish History and Culture.\nThe subject will be the Jews of the C
 onfederacy and The Lost Cause.\n\nThere will be two presentations:\nThe fi
 rst by Robert Rosen\, author of Confederate Jews\, on the place of Jews in
  Southern society and their support of the South in the Civil War.\nThe se
 cond by Professor David Weinfeld on Southern Jews and their support of the
  Lost Cause (the view that the Civil War was not about slavery\, but State
 's Rights and the preservation of democracy).\nTogether the presentations
