 However\, few proper investigations of this “mystery” have been conduc
 ted. Now\, utilizing three separate and completely independent sources—t
 he Biblical account\, contemporary neo-Assyrian inscriptions\, and archaeo
 logical remains from both the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern 
 kingdom of Judah—it can be confidently shown that the Ten Tribes of Isra
