DESCRIPTION:We will commemorate Yom HaShoah&nbsp\; in the Sanctuary and via
  livestream on our website. Our Yom HaShoah program this year will be led 
 by Dr. Lefkovitz and our Madrichim from the School of Jewish Studies. The 
 topic is: "The Life and Death of Janusz Korczak\, the Warsaw Ghetto and th
 e Warsaw Ghetto Rebellion on its 80th Anniversary”.\n\nJanusz Korczak wa
 s a famous Jewish educator and physician who established model progressive
  orphanages in Poland before World War II. When Jews were cruelly imprison
 ed in the Warsaw ghetto\, Dr. Korczak refused to abandon the children in h
 is care and perished with them in Treblinka. Several months later\, Jews s
 till in the ghetto rose up against the Germans in the legendary rebellion 
 whose anniversary we will commemorate.
