About Family Promise

What is Family Promise?

Family Promise is a national organization that partners with faith communities and local nonprofits to provide temporary housing and support for families experiencing homelessness. The North Shore program serves families throughout the area with the help of nearly 30 congregations—including Am Yisrael.

Leadership

Family Promise was introduced at Am Yisrael in 2013 through the leadership of Gerry and Claudia Linda. Their vision continues through today’s dedicated volunteer team.
