Learning

Am Yisrael offers extensive learning at all levels and abilities.

Our School of Jewish Studies (SJS) is for our members’ children, grades kindergarten through high school, with supplemental programming for pre-schoolers, co-sponsored by jBaby Chicago.

SJS meets on Sundays from 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4:15 p.m.-6:15 p.m. for grades three through seven.

SJS meets only on Sundays from 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. for Kindergarten through grade two and grades eight through twelve.  Kindergarten classes dismiss at 10:15 a.m.

Approximately once a month we have Family Shabbat Services on Shabbat mornings for Kindergarten through grade seven students and their families from 10:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m. followed by kiddush lunch.
