Tikkun Olam – Repairing the World Am Yisrael’s Tikkun Olam program has re-emerged from the pandemic. Our Tikkun Olam committee helps regularly at the Beth Emet Soup Kitchen. We are participating in a drive to raise funds to provide an ambulance for Israel through Magen David Adom.
We were excited to co-sponsor a refugee family from Afghanistan through HIAS. The family arrived in January 2022 and has settled into its new life, with support from our congregation.
