A Tribe Comes Home: A Dvar Torah
Nearly 2,750 years after the Lost Tribe of Menashe was exiled from the Land of Israel, its descendants — hidden for millennia in the remote mountains of Northeast India — are at last coming home, through Operation Wings of Dawn.
Chicago Jewish community leaders Keith and Marci Shapiro traveled to the Bnei Menashe’s mountain villages and synagogues, then accompanied them on the journey home to Israel.
