October 8 Documentary screening and discussion with Shira Goodman

Join us for a screening of the movie and a discussion with Shira Goodman. ADL VP Advocacy, about the evolving situation on campus, what we’ve seen and what we we are preparing for.

Shira Goodman serves as the Anti-Defamation League’s Vice President of Advocacy, leading ADL’s Ronal Birnbaum Center to Combat Antisemitism in Education, focused on countering antisemitism on campus and in K-12 schools, and the Ratings and Assessments Institute. Previously, she coordinated state policy advocacy across ADL’s 25 regions and led Volunteer Activation and Community Engagement work, including leading ADL’s participation in the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington. She also served as the Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League’s Philadelphia Region, which serves Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. 

Prior to joining the ADL, Shira served as the Executive Director of CeaseFirePA, a statewide organization working to end the epidemic of gun violence in Pennsylvania and across the country.  Shira also worked as Deputy Director of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts, a non-profit working for fair courts and equal access to justice, and as a labor lawyer at Ballard Spahr.  

Shira is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Yale Law School.  

She and her husband Alan Woronoff are members of Am Yisrael.
