Join us as we honor Claudia and Gerry Linda who brought the Family Promise program to life at Am Yisrael over a decade ago. We will recognize and thank the Linda’s for their years of service to both Family Promise and Am Yisrael. We will also explore why participation in Family Promise is so important to us as a Jewish community. Tracy McKeithen, Executive Director of Family Promise, will join us at Shabbat services.
In addition to honoring the Linda’s, exploring the role of Tikkun Olam and the Jewish response to housing insecurity specifically and those in need more generally, we want to share how special Family Promise is to those in the congregation who volunteer.
