Ballet Exercise Lesson – E. Marc Nevins

One sixty minute lesson that combines Pilates (lite) for core strength, yoga for stretching, ballet for posture, alignment and balance. This lesson will be held over Zoom and is adaptable to all ages and abilities.

E. Marc Nevins is a former professional ballet dancer who successfully founded and ran Ballet Entre Nous, a North Shore based ballet company, for twenty-five years.  Marc has performed with ABT, Chicago Ballet, Ballet West, Joffrey Ballet and more. He studied under teachers such as Maria Tallchief, Jurgen Schneider, Phyllis Wills, Kirsten Simone, Goerge Verdak, Olga Merinowa, Michael Maule, Alexandra Danilova, Stanley Williams, Andrei Kramerevsky, Robert Joffrey.  Additionally he toured with national companies, performing in musical theatre, as well as many local performances.  Marc studied American Sign Language and incorporated that into his choreography.  The entire body of work performed by Ballet Entre Nous was Marc’s original choreography.  He was known for his distinctive and creative style, as well as his innovative approach to story telling.  He currently teaches ballet classes and provides ballet exercise to private students.  He has worked with all levels from young children to top tier professionals. Marc’s relaxed manner and friendly approach to exercise makes his lessons delightful and refreshing.
